This post aims to raise awareness about some self-proclaimed organic companies that may not be entirely honest.

In the past, I contacted several such companies, asking for their organic certification. The responses varied, with some claiming it was "on the way," but even after two years, they still have no certification. Others simply did not reply.

When buying nutrients, always verify their claims and request certificates for organic products. Mislabeling products as organic when they are not is false marketing and unethical.

Check Labels: Look for certification logos from reputable organizations like:

  • USDA Organic

  • EU Organic

  • Canada Organic

  • Australian Certified Organic (ACO)

  • Japan Agricultural Standard (JAS)

  • Soil Association (UK)

  • Ecocert

A user sent pictures of nutrient bottles showing a subtle name change from "Organics" to "Organics™" or removing the term altogether, making it a name rather than a statement.

It may be a coincidence, but I'll remain skeptical for now.

Remember, it's fine not to grow organically as long as you are upfront about it.
