DOOB-E Black Market brand assessment

It is now a little over 1 month ago since I contacted DOOB-E. Since then, they have stopped replying to me.

They were very steady and ensured all products were tested, as claimed on their website.

The data from this article is from the start of August 2026. All screenshots are genuine and taken directly from their own site/social media.

Before jumping into the article, I want to add a personal note:

Whether it being the Black Market, Grey Market or Legal Market, consumer safety is always able to be tested and measured.

I do personally not distinguish between the three markets when it comes to product safety. All markets are able to have products tested, buy verified and legitimate hardware, and they are also able to package and store products in a safely manner.

The Black Market does not have an excuse to be a poor actor with false and unverifiable claims.

Self-proclaimed industry experts does not have an excuse to not verify black market products when advising people on their consumption.

For this article, we will be using DOOB-E as an example of a poor actor in the Black Market community. The DOOB-E brand caught my eye as I was loosely told they were one of the best brands in the UK. As always, it made me curious as I am always looking for brands that take care of their customers with safety in focus. Unfortunately, DOOB-E has been the least professional actor I have communicated with as of 07-August-2026.

Initial correspondence in their Telegram Group chat, as I was advised to contact them in this group by their own administrator. I tried Instagram, but the message went into their spam folder

DOOB-E has refused to provide any data - anything from CoA to product verification. Their community of moderation and reviewer (1) has also refused to participate in product verification. I am continuously met with a "soon" comment, when asked for documentation. The documentation is usually just in an email inbox and is able to be fetched within a minute of two. It is not complex to fetch the reports, yet DOOB-E are not able to provide any trace of evidence.

Let's start by gathering some data.

Company registration - unavailable on the website (Black Market brand).
Their website pictures are AI-generated.
They are claiming third-party laboratory tests with full safety-, potency-, and compliance panels.
They claim to possess superior vapes compared to other brands.
They are claiming a superior oil product and most importantly of all; they are claiming consistency and to be trustworthy.
They claim to know the cannabinoid and terpenoid percentages and label their products as such.
AI mistake? 26% THC, less than 1% CBD - but a total of 36.8% cannabinoids? Are these random percentages on the label?
They have AI-generated pictures present on their website which could falsely make this brand look like a legitimate company with full publicity (false safety of products).
They have not added any disclaimer to state this is AI-generated, leading customers to believe the "brand" is more established and trustworthy
There are "product reviews"/testimonials on their website with only 5/5 stars.
The owner of DOOB-E claims to only use CCELL hardware.
They are sharing a story from a non-suspecting (allegedly) user, who is happy about DOOB-E being a "safe" brand, and being happy of the "level of transparency by DOOB-E".

After gathering questions and data, the next step is to challenge and prove each of these points.

The company does not provide any details on their website or products which would lead to traceability/ownership of the brand. This is very obvious and not expected, as this brand is Black Market and not a registered medicinal company. The issue with the "company", is how they are presenting themselves to be a premium provider of cannabis products. Their website is doing a lot of heavy lifting to convince customers of a safe and established brand.
All of their pictures on the website are AI-generated. The reason for AI-generation of products could mean they are varying in quality/consistency or undefined/uncertain product catalog. This is typical of a vendor not being consistent with their products and/or unsure whether their production/product provider are able to hold up on their end.
AI-generation for marketing purposes could also mean a lack of resources, as human-made artwork and marketing requires much more than a person using AI-generation tools.
This is where it starts to become a serious offense rather than "just another Black Market brand". It is very common in the Grey-Market (THCA/CBD, etc) to claim a transparency of laboratory reports. Those vendors are usually navigating on the line between legal and illegal products, which means they are required to provide cannabinoid testing to prove their products are legally imported and sold.
A Black Market brand can definitely provide a full transparent test of their products.
Matter of fact, there are laws in UK, EU and US which allows users/vendors to be able to have small samples tested.
The sample size is obviously far from being enough for batch-release, as most of the traceability will be lost during a Black Market production. The testing will be sufficient as a process control at least, and will let both the vendor and consumers know that the vendor at least tried to keep the consumers safe.

Since DOOB-E claims to possess CoA (Certificate of Analysis) for purity, safety, potency and compliance, I reached out to them to have a report provided.

While at it, I would like to mention that it is ridiculous how DOOB-E mentions on their website that they are in compliance regarding laboratory testing.

Upon communicating with the DOOB-E team, they had a very poor to no knowledge of product safety. They didn't seem to understand the term "compliance" either.

To understand their business conduct, let's have a look at how they responded to my initial request for evidence. Please keep in mind that I have only been asking questions in one Telegram group, yet this is their response:

My response to them was "Can you provide a valid CoA?" and I had to reiterate the question, just to be met by the same wall, such as this accusation that I would deny their documentation:

A valid CoA has the level of traceability that it is not possible to photoshop. That is the reason to use a laboratory in compliance

They have been refusing to provide any past data which they claim to possess, but were very eager to nudge me to check 10/10 Boys and other BM brands

"Brother name a lab" was in reference to DOOB-E wanting to send their product to a laboratory. They claim to have full laboratory tests and transparency, meaning testing now is not productive for past claims. The current and "valid" documentation must be shown. Past documentation is required to verify their claims.

It is thus concluded, they do not have the claimed tests.

They are claiming to have a superior device, but they are not able to verify/prove the authenticity of their vapes. They are claiming CCELL-origin, but I have not been able to have either them nor their reviewer to verify this claim. The reviewer became annoyed due to my "journalistic approach".
DOOB-E uploaded a Instagram Story, promising to show "strict SOPs" and "proprietary processes". I have been following them to verify whether they would back up these claims, but they are yet to show a SOP for their process (I wonder why). It is also important to notice how they are using AI-generated chat to sound professional and utilize a production-language, including compliance taken from ISO/Annex/GxP standards.

This point is quite funny - they are stating cannabinoid percentages on their products while being unable to show cannabinoid percentages and terpenoids/flavonoids. They have shown a "lab test" to some users, which has simply been a machine similar to a PurplPro: a handheld hobby-testing machine, and not a proper test-equipment.
Notice how their AI-generated percentages say 26% THC and below 1% CBD, while the total cannabinoid says 36.8%. That means there is missing literally 10%+ cannabinoids that they are measuring, but are not stating.
I personally believe this may be a AI-generation failure. If DOOB-E had deep industrial experience, they would notice this error, and also notice how total cannabinoid content is measured in XX.X, while their THC% is measured as XX. This is also not the norm when conducting testing: you are using the same numeric format.

The AI-generated pictures they are using, are giving users the impression that they are attending official events with their brands, and has the pictured women as ambassadors/representatives/other. Their pictures has a lot of artifacts, such as the people in the background's faces being warped when zooming in.

On their website, they are claiming to have reviews for their products. These reviews are all 5 out of 5 stars. They do not have a review function, and there is no way to add your own review. This is another poor conduct to ensure customers are only receiving positive information regarding the brand.

As mentioned before, the owner claims ALL devices to be of "modified CCELL origin", but nobody, to my knowledge, has been able to verify this claim. This can be verified by either CCELL serial number (usually 2 letters, followed by numbers), or through a manufacturing invoice which can be traced to the design of the DOOB-E vapes.

This is a prime example of how their fraudulent marketing practices are luring in customers who does not have industry experience. I have reached out to the consumer and he was puzzled to learn that DOOB-E does not follow the standards they promise they are. I have decided not to dig deeper into this issue, as it seems to be mostly led by self-proclaimed reviewers (see section below).

The "SOP" Instagram Story, as seen above, seems to cover a lot of points and using terms that you see in the professional industry, such as SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and a small-scale showcase which would simulate their production in a presumably pilot-environment (small replica of a larger production). They are also claiming to take all "safety and security precautions" for all involved in distributing and manufacturing these products, but this is not a valid excuse to back out of all their claims. As noted above, they are able to secure a safe(r) product for their customers, but they simply do not understand/want to go through these processes.

This concludes the initial suspicion points I found regarding DOOB-E. I hope you have gained some insight and you will be able to verify other Black Market brands with false claims. DOOB-E is an example, but they are far from being the only Black Market company with these fraudulent claims. We can't expect Black Market brands to conduct these measures, but we can expect Black Market brands that claim to have gone through these measures.

My curiosity went further than just the DOOB-E brand, as there seem to be a plethora of reviewers being "pro-DOOB-E". For this reason, I decided to look into one of their "main" reviewers.

*Note: Since the data cutoff, the reviewer has uploaded incorrect points, such as he thought "rosin" meant that you made isolator hash and pressed said isolator hash. It seems he does not understand the term "rosin" correctly.

The name of the reviewer is not disclosed, as I believe he is simply too unexperienced and does not understand the impact of his inaccurate claims and "analysis".

As conversing with the DOOB-E team has been futile, I reached out to a self-proclaimed reviewer who provide "honest public evaluations & is a Quality Control reviewer conducting hardware and oil analysis".

It has caught my attention that a lot of consumers are being wildly misled by reviewers in the Black Market. While the reviewers may not be paid directly, they may be receiving free products as well special treatment from those Black Market brands. The brands will lure the reviewers with goodwill and promises. Since the reviewers does not have the knowledge to challenge those brands, they end up believing that the black market product is indeed safe and may even be better than verified legal products.

Those reviewers are spreading misinformation, but it may not be on purpose, but rather the result of lack of knowledge and experience.

I have gone through a few of those reviewers and have chosen to go through with the one I have had contact.

While at it, let's very briefly check how this reviewer has the confidence to claim DOOB-E as a trustworthy, safe and premium-brand:

Hardware analysis - "Zero hardware issues over 2+ weeks".
Quality Control - I am unable to see any kind of Quality Control process during his review. I believe he think that QC (quality control) is just consuming a product and telling whether it is good or not.

So how come is it bad that a consumer is making reviews?

-Generally it is very appreciated for consumers to write reviews, and I will always urge everybody to write reviews - I have even made a public database in which anybody is able to add their own personal reviews. But for this case, the reviewer presents themself as being an avid and professional reviewer.

This concludes the article as of now. I wanted to make it more in-depth, to ensure all corners were covered, but I have unfortunately run into a period where I do not have much spare time. I would have liked to cover the dangers of poor hardware as well as DOOB-E's product themselves (the oil within the cartridges).

All of this is written from my personal perspective and assessments, and are part of my hobby.
