A brief TL:DR
The report does not demonstrate that the product is clean or safe. The cannabinoid page is a potency analysis, not a contaminant screen.
Only 33.22% of the sample is accounted for by the cannabinoids measured in this panel. That leaves roughly 66.78% chemically unexplained by this particular test.
Most importantly, CBGA is the direct precursor of THCA, and CBGA can be converted into THCA using THCA synthase. This means that an incomplete CBGA → THCA conversion is a technically plausible explanation for the profile.

So straight to the point:
A Black Market dealer claimed that his suspicious hash product were clean and he had laboratory evidence to prove it.
This is the analysis he sent:


As you probably already know from looking at what a proper report should look like, a cannabinoid potency analysis is not the same thing as a product-safety analysis.
This page tells us how much of a small selection of cannabinoids the laboratory detected. It does not, by itself, tell us whether the product contains pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, microbial contamination or other unwanted compounds.
The report does reveal something very interesting though.
Let's have a look at the data.
LOD = Limit of Detection
The lowest concentration where the instrument can reliably distinguish that an analyte is present from background noise.
LOQ = Limit of Quantification
The lowest concentration where the laboratory can not only detect it, but measure its concentration with acceptable accuracy and precision.
Now that you have established LOD and LOQ, have a look at the report above and see how small amounts is required to be detected - and yet, were not detected.
In this sample, the laboratory detected only three cannabinoids:

There are two separate things here that caught my attention.
First, only 33.22% of the sample is represented by the cannabinoids measured by this assay. That means approximately 66.78% of its mass is not explained by these reported cannabinoids.
The product also seems to be full-melt, yet there are ~66.78% of unknown material/mass in the product. That is not normally seen with genuine cannabis products.
A high-quality full-melt cannabis concentrate, 33.22% total reported cannabinoids is certainly a result I would want explained and investigated further.
Now things become more interesting: CBGA → THCA
Most cannabis users who have followed the alternative-cannabinoid industry will already be familiar with the idea of cannabinoid conversion.
The most famous example is CBD being converted into psychoactive THC isomers.
The familiar CBD → THC conversion routes deal with neutral cannabinoids.
THCA still contains its carboxylic-acid group, and the starting material for THCA is not CBD.
CBGA is used as starting material for THCA.
THCA synthase is the enzyme that converts CBGA into THCA.
Researchers have produced functional THCA synthase in other biological systems and used it to manufacture THCA.
That gives us a legitimate manufacturing pathway:
CBGA → THCA synthase = THCA
If that reaction does not consume all of the starting material, the resulting product could contain: THCA + residual unconverted CBGA (which could be what we are seeing in thise report).
And that is why this particular report caught my attention.
That pattern is consistent with an incomplete CBGA → THCA conversion.
It does not prove that this is what happened, but it provides a technically plausible hypothesis that deserves investigation.
But couldn't this simply be natural cannabis?
This is the most important limitation of the argument.
Cannabis itself performs exactly the same biochemical reaction. CBGA is the natural precursor from which THCA is produced, so finding CBGA together with THCA is not inherently suspicious.
In fact, high-THCA cannabis can naturally contain measurable residual CBGA, and CBGA tends to be associated with THC-dominant chemotypes.
What makes this sample interesting is the overall fingerprint/test panel, not just the existence of CBGA.
The laboratory found CBGA, THCA and Δ9-THC while reporting CBDV, CBD, CBG, CBDA, CBN, Δ8-THC and CBC as ND (not detected).
That is a very sparse cannabinoid profile.
The panel contains only ten individual cannabinoids and most importantly, CBCA was not tested at all.
That matters because CBGA is not exclusively the precursor to THCA. It is a major branching point in cannabinoid biosynthesis:
CBGA → THCA via THCA synthase
CBGA → CBDA via CBDA synthase
CBGA → CBCA via CBCA synthase
So, when trying to determine whether a product retains the chemical fingerprint of natural cannabis resin, CBCA is the sort of cannabinoid I would want included in the analysis.
What we may actually be looking at
We may be looking at a legal or grey-market THCA product produced from CBGA, rather than a traditional cannabis concentrate.
The cannabinoid profile is consistent with that possibility: THCA is dominant, CBGA remains as a possible precursor residue, while the other cannabinoids tested were either not detected or not tested at all.
The 4.646% Δ9-THC does not necessarily mean the product originally contained that amount. THCA naturally decarboxylates into Δ9-THC over time, especially when exposed to heat during storage, transport or handling.
It is therefore possible that the product originally contained more THCA, substantially less Δ9-THC, and residual CBGA, with part of the THCA converting to THC before it was tested.
The concerning possibility is that this may not be a traditional cannabis concentrate at all, but a manufactured THCA product originating from the legal or grey cannabinoid market and subsequently sold as premium hash.
If that is what happened, consumers may be paying premium Black Market prices for a comparatively inexpensive converted cannabinoid product without being told what they are actually consuming.
THCA products are usually sold as "not for consumption", which allows the manufacturers to alter the products how they wish. This product could be 66% beeswax with cannabinoids added!
Manufacturer transparency is crucial nowadays.
If they are producing natural THCA from plants bred for "grey-area" properties, consumers should be informed of such practice. Also if vendors are selling synthetically produced cannabinoids.
The producers should be allowed to produce the kind of products they wish, but they should be required to provide safety tests as well as how the product originated.
