Transparent Database for Brands and Products
The core of the website’s latest update-to-come is the creation of a user-driven database. This tool will allow everyone to add and access detailed information about cannabis brands and their products. The database will cover the entire market; medical, black and gray markets. There are good/bad and clean/contaminated products in all of them, hence they are all relevant.
The structure will most likely end up being: Brands --> Products --> Reviews --> Likes and comments for reviews.
As some products may be fraudulent/falsely labeled, a brand can have multiple of the "same" product. I may have had a poor experience with a farm where others may have had an excellent experience - both of these products can exist, as one of them can then be deemed as fake/fraudulent.
What the Database Will Include
Brand Profiles
Users can store information about brands, including their history, product range, and reputation. Users can add whichever information they would like to the brand they create, but advised to keep the brands as neutral as possible.
Example: Blue Magic Patron, farm known to produce innovative products, but has had variations in quality since their initial season.
Product Details
Each product entry will include data such as flavor profiles, potency levels, and user ratings.
When a user adds a product, the user should post their personal opinion about the product and what they perceive of it.
Example: I may perceive a product as a very poor quality as everybody around me has had bad experiences because we have had a fake product. Where you may have had a fantastic experience, and should share it as such.
Product Reviews
Products can be reviewed by any user. Once you have added a brand and a product, all users can review that product you have added. The reviews include a scoring system and details.
Polls and Rankings
The database will generate polls and top lists, such as the most popular flavors or average potencies, based on user input.
Transparency and Accuracy
All data will be openly shared, with clear sourcing and user feedback to ensure accuracy.
Warning About Fake Cartridges and Disposable Vapes in Europe
Recently, there has been another batch of increase in counterfeit cartridges and disposable vapes circulating in Europe. These fake products often come from unregulated sources and can contain harmful substances.
And in the past, has been proven multiple times to be one of the most often contaminated products on the market.
Fake vapes may include dangerous additives or contaminants that can cause serious health problems. Heavy metals, solvents, microbes - the list is almost endless.
As for now, make sure to:
Check product packaging for authenticity markers.
Avoid deals that seem too good to be true. For example, a very large and established brand such as Cookies/Jungle Boyz does not engage in illegal activities. Especially when you see the same cartridges all over Europe - and the fact that they share the same Lot number.
I did work a bit on a project where you could input the products and their information (batch, brand, license no. etc.), then it would search and try to verify the information.

New Community Group Focused on Medical Cannabis Products
A new group has been created by a dedicated user to focus specifically on medical cannabis products. This group offers a space for users to share experiences with different medical strains and products, as well as post reviews.
This group complements the broader community by providing targeted support for medical users. If you are interested in medical cannabis, joining this group can connect you with others who share your needs and questions.
As this group is created by a user, it isn't certain how active it will be, but I will also contribute with medical cannabis reviews to it.

Macro lenses
A very small post about this, as this project is still very very early. The database has taken up most of the hobby time I have.
I have received a lot of small macro lenses which I will try to make a 3D-printed observation stand for. The reason for this project is that I would like to be able to let everybody inspect cannabis products with easy and for cheap.
Most of the cheap options involve a camera, but the camera output is so poor, that it is difficult to see the particles individually.
Thus the idea of having a stand that is:
Cheap (connected to your phone = great quality).
Portable.
Module-based (universal)
Stable (it is difficult to inspect with a clip-on lens)

Leading new discussion groups or projects - you can create and manage groups by yourself. You will automatically become administrator of a group you decide to create.
Sharing insights from your own experiences - any and ALL information is valid and appreciated. Personal experiences of traveling in a legal/illegal country, or a new strain you have bred - don't hold back to share what you see and experience.
